Description

Tipton Sports Academy is expanding its racquet sports programme and is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Padel Coach to support the growth of this fast developing sport. This role is ideal for a coach who can deliver high quality sessions while working flexibly within our established pay and play environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver structured group coaching sessions and organised individual lessons, ensuring all activity aligns with the centre’s court booking system. You will play a key role in developing players of all ages and abilities, helping to build a welcoming and inclusive padel community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging group coaching sessions for a range of abilities.

• Provide tailored individual coaching, scheduled around pay and play court availability.

• Support the development of coaching pathways for juniors and adults.

• Work collaboratively with the Tipton Sports Academy team to coordinate sessions and customer flow.

• Promote coaching opportunities and encourage participation in padel activities.

• Maintain high standards of safety, safeguarding, and customer service.

• Assist with padel events, taster sessions, organising tournaments and community engagement activities.

About You

• Recognised padel coaching qualification, (e.g., LTA in the UK or international equivalent).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience coaching mixed ability groups and individuals.

• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.

• Organised, reliable, and comfortable working within a busy leisure environment.

• Passionate about growing participation in padel.

Working hours

• Flexible hours based on programme needs and coach availability.

• Sessions scheduled around the existing pay and play booking structure.

• Opportunities to expand coaching hours as demand increases.
