Salary: £30,000 + Uncapped Commission and Performance-Related Bonuses
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
About Heart of Padel
Heart of Padel is an independent, family-run padel club and growing social destination in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester. With five premium covered courts, a vibrant clubhouse and a thriving community of players, we’ve built something we’re incredibly proud of, but we’re only getting started.
We’re now looking for an ambitious, commercially driven individual to help take Heart of Padel to the next stage of its growth.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, sales-focused role with one clear objective: to generate new business, increase court occupancy and drive revenue growth.
You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new commercial opportunities, developing relationships with local businesses and organisations, and growing revenue through corporate bookings, events, sponsorships and partnerships.
You’ll also use targeted marketing initiatives and promotional activity to attract new customers and increase bookings, working closely with the Operations Director and wider team.
We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, confident in approaching new prospects and motivated by achieving measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Proactively identify, approach and secure new business opportunities.
- Drive corporate bookings, team-building events, sponsorships and commercial partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organisations and community groups.
- Manage the full sales process, from prospecting and initial contact through to securing bookings and developing repeat business.
- Identify opportunities to increase court occupancy, particularly during quieter daytime periods.
Customer Acquisition & Commercial Growth
- Develop and implement initiatives to attract new players and increase bookings.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue across the clubhouse, coaching programmes and other club activities.
- Develop relationships with local communities, schools and organisations to introduce new audiences to the club.
Marketing & Promotion
- Plan and coordinate targeted marketing campaigns to support sales, customer acquisition and court occupancy.
- Work with content creators, designers and external marketing support to deliver promotional activity.
- Support the promotion of club events, coaching programmes, corporate packages and new initiatives.
Sales Performance & Planning
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers, corporate clients and commercial opportunities.
- Track sales activity, conversion rates and revenue generated, providing regular updates on performance.
- Develop a forward-looking sales plan to support consistent growth throughout the year.
Success in this role will be measured against agreed sales, revenue, customer acquisition and court occupancy targets, working closely with the Operations Director to review performance and identify opportunities for growth.
About You
We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded individual who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities and delivering results.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in sales or business development is essential, with a track record of generating new business and achieving targets.
- Confidence in prospecting, approaching potential clients, pitching opportunities and closing sales.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage businesses, organisations and individuals.
- A self-motivated, organised approach, with the confidence to work independently and take ownership of results.
- A good understanding of how marketing and promotional activity can support sales and customer acquisition.
- A creative, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and turn ideas into action.
- An interest in sport, fitness or hospitality would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
Above all, we’re looking for someone with initiative, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Padel experience isn’t essential. The right attitude, commercial mindset and ability to deliver results matter far more.
