We’re Padel People on a mission to make padel accessible, fun, and welcoming for everyone across the UK. With fast-growing locations in Wimbledon, Basingstoke, Sedlescombe, Shepton Mallet, and more on the way, we’re building a community where anyone can pick up a racket and play.
Our brand is inclusive, playful, and energetic, with a strong sense of community for all ages and abilities from complete beginners to advanced players.
We’re a small but ambitious team, and you’ll work closely with our founders and site managers to bring the Padel People spirit to life across all our social channels.
The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media and Content Manager to take ownership of our online presence planning, creating, and managing engaging content that reflects the Padel People voice and drives awareness, bookings, and engagement across our sites.
You’ll need to balance creativity with organisation, storytelling with data, and bring genuine enthusiasm for sport, community, and clever content.
Your ResponsibilitiesContent Planning
· Plan and manage monthly content calendars for all owned site-specific social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
· Collaborate with founders and site managers to align content with key events, campaigns, and milestones.
· Plan and develop site-specific campaigns to increase local awareness and court bookings.
· Support monthly Mailchimp newsletters and briefs with engaging content that drives bookings
· Create content briefs for site managers and coordinate content for social posting
Content Creation
· Create and curate engaging, trend-led content (reels, graphics, posts, stories) in line with the social calendar
· Stay on top of padel trends and wider social conversations for timely, relevant content.
· Manage outsourced content deliverables when needed (site managers, freelancers and designers)
· Produce twice-monthly newsletters per site using mail chimp
· Be the storyteller behind Padel People sharing moments, milestones, and the energy of our players across the channels reflected in the content
Community Management
· Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions across platforms in a timely manner, working with the founders and site managers for any customer service answers needed to ensure all issues and questions are addressed and resolved
· Engage proactively with our followers, players, and local communities to build relationships
· Manage WhatsApp and Google review responses, ensuring all customer interactions are personal, positive, and prompt.
Partnerships
· Identify and pitch local partnership opportunities with complementary brands or businesses to be part of the social calendar.
· Develop joint campaigns that increase visibility, followers, and court bookings.
What We're Looking For
· 2+ years’ experience managing social media for a community-focused or sports brand.
· Strong creative skills confident writing captions, shooting/editing video, and briefing designers.
· A data-driven mindset able to track performance and adapt strategy.
· Highly organised and able to manage multiple site calendars.
· A love of sport (padel or tennis experience is a big bonus!).

· Salary: £36,000–£40,000
