Padel Project UK is a rapidly growing sports and leisure start-up focused on building and running high-quality padel facilities across the UK. We are expanding rapidly and are looking for an experienced, hands-on Marketing Manager to drive revenue by attracting new players to our sites, and in time to build our brand and grow awareness, engagement, and membership across current and future sites.

Role Overview

This is a senior role that requires both strategic oversight and a willingness to get stuck into the day-to-day. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive marketing strategy to support business growth, working as part of the management team, using external consultants as needed. In time you will need to recruit and build the marketing function for the business.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Marketing

· Deliver all digital marketing activity including SEO, paid advertising (PPC, social ads), email campaigns, and content marketing

· Manage the company website, ensuring it is optimised for user experience, lead generation, and SEO

· Drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement through digital channels

· A key early deliverable will be attracting players to new sites as they are launched, to maximise court utilisation and revenue

Marketing Strategy & Execution

· Develop, own, and deliver the overall marketing strategy for Padel Project UK and its venues

· Develop, recruit, and shape the marketing function of the business over time

· Work as part of the management team to align marketing with business goals and expansion plans

Analytics & Tracking

· Implement tracking and reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics, CRM dashboards) to monitor campaign performance

· Use data to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and inform decision-making

Content, Social Media & PR

· Oversee content creation, including social media, blogs, videos, newsletters, and promotional material

· Manage social media strategy and execution, with an initial focus on new customer acquisition via on-line booking

· Appoint and manage PR consultants to drive media coverage and brand awareness

Consultant and Project Management

· Work with and manage relationships with external marketing consultants, designers, photographers, videographers, and agencies

· Coordinate the delivery of projects and new site launches, ensuring deadlines and KPIs are met

· Ensure all external work is on-brand and aligned with business goals

Skills & Experience

· The ideal candidate for this position will be positive, energetic, delivery and results focused. They will be a quick learner with a can-do attitude the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment. The successful candidate for the Marketing Manager position will have:

· Experience in direct-to-consumer performance marketing with proof of delivering and growing on-line revenues using multiple platforms, including the use of the standard analytics tools and platforms

· A good level of numeracy and be comfortable working with data, tracking ROI, and making data-informed decisions, and presenting information

· Excellent communication and project management skills

· Creative mindset with an eye for branding, design, and storytelling

· A minimum of five years digital marketing experience, including managing agencies or consultants and ideally managing one or more direct reports
