Playtime Padel - Barking

Playtime Padel - Barking is an accessible padel venue at Barking Riverside in East London, bringing affordable, community-focused padel to Barking and the surrounding area. Located at The Wilds on Northgate Road, the club follows Playtime Padel’s philosophy of making the sport straightforward and accessible, with a pay-and-play model that allows players to book without committing to a membership.

The outdoor padel facilities provide a convenient setting for both new and experienced players, with the venue open from 9am until 8pm. Equipment is included with every court booking, so players do not need to own their own padel racket or balls before getting started. Equipment can be collected using the club’s courtside locker system, making the venue particularly accessible for beginners and occasional players. Courts are booked through Padel Mates, with affordable parking available next to the venue.

Playtime Padel places a strong emphasis on introducing more people to the sport. Across its clubs, the operator provides padel coaching opportunities including junior sessions, private padel lessons, social sessions and matchplay, alongside introductory support for players who are completely new to padel. Its wider community programme also includes opportunities for local residents and schools to experience the sport, supporting Playtime’s aim of making padel available to a broader range of players and backgrounds.

The Barking Riverside location combines straightforward court access with an inclusive, community-led approach. With equipment provided as part of the booking and no membership requirement, players can experience padel without the additional upfront cost of purchasing equipment or joining a club. This accessible format makes Playtime Padel - Barking a useful addition to the growing padel scene in Barking, East London and the wider capital.

Playtime Padel - Barking is proudly recognised as a TPD Featured Club, highlighting its commitment to delivering outstanding facilities, high quality coaching and an exceptional player experience within the UK's growing padel community.
