Neighbourhood Padel Digbeth is one of the most distinctive padel venues in the UK, created beneath four original Victorian railway arches in the heart of Digbeth — Birmingham’s cultural and creative quarter. Rather than a conventional indoor facility, the venue has been built around the character of the arches themselves, creating a dramatic playing environment that feels completely different from a traditional sports centre.

The four covered courts sit beneath the huge brick railway structures, with the architecture becoming part of the experience. Graffiti artwork runs throughout the venue, reflecting Digbeth’s street-art culture, while pink uplighting transforms the arches in the evening and gives the club a striking atmosphere after dark. The result is a venue that combines Birmingham’s industrial heritage with modern padel in a way that is genuinely unique.

Neighbourhood Padel was created around the belief that a padel club should be more than somewhere to hire a court. Digbeth has therefore been designed as a place where people play, learn, socialise and become part of a community. Whether someone is picking up a racket for the first time, looking for regular social games or taking their padel seriously, the aim is to give them a reason to keep coming back.

Coaching and player development sit at the heart of the venue. Rather than coaching being an add-on to court hire, it is one of the main focuses of Neighbourhood Padel Digbeth. Players can access introductory sessions, individual and group coaching, progressive programmes, specialist clinics, drills and matchplay sessions, with a strong emphasis on high-quality technical and tactical development.

The programme is designed to create clear pathways through the sport, helping complete beginners learn the game properly while giving developing and experienced players opportunities to improve specific areas such as defence, attacking play, overheads, movement, positioning and decision-making.

Located in the centre of Digbeth, surrounded by independent businesses, music, art, nightlife and some of Birmingham’s most recognisable industrial architecture, the venue feels firmly connected to the area around it. The railway arches, exposed brickwork, street art and evening lighting make playing at Neighbourhood Padel Digbeth as much about the environment and experience as the game itself.

With four covered courts, expert coaching, organised social play and one of the most unusual settings in British padel, Neighbourhood Padel Digbeth offers something very different: padel underneath Birmingham’s Victorian railway arches, in the heart of one of the city’s most creative neighbourhoods.

Neighbourhood Padel Digbeth is proudly recognised as a TPD Featured Club, highlighting its commitment to delivering outstanding facilities, high quality coaching and an exceptional player experience within the UK's growing padel community.
