City Padel Taunton

City Padel Taunton is an independent, family-owned padel club at Crown Industrial Estate in Taunton, Somerset. Opened in June 2026, the venue brings City Padel’s premium approach to the county town, with a strong emphasis on high-quality facilities, professional coaching and an inclusive social padel community for players of different ages and abilities.

The club features six padel courts, comprising five premium indoor courts – including a dedicated singles court – and one outdoor court. This combination provides greater choice when booking and allows players to enjoy padel throughout the year. Off court, facilities include a mezzanine viewing area, fully licensed bar and café, quiet working space and modern changing rooms, creating a comfortable environment for playing, relaxing and socialising before or after a match.

Padel coaching is central to the City Padel Taunton programme, led by Head Coach Kieran Muir. Structured padel lessons cover beginner, improver, intermediate and advanced levels, alongside dedicated junior padel coaching for children and teenagers. The weekly schedule also includes Intro to Padel sessions, drills and matchplay, Padel Cardio and Playtomic levelling evaluations, giving both newcomers and experienced players regular opportunities to develop their technique, tactical awareness and match skills.

The club’s social programme offers plenty of ways to meet other players and enjoy competitive or relaxed padel in Taunton. Regular activities include Club Night, Ladies Coffee + Padel, Padel Americano and Padel & Pint sessions. Rackets and balls are available to hire on site, while the pro shop stocks a range of padel equipment and apparel. Court bookings and organised sessions are managed through Playtomic, and the club is open seven days a week from 07:00 to 22:00.
