The fundamental rules of Padel for your first game.
- Padel is usually played as doubles on an enclosed court.
- The aim is to hit the ball over the net into your opponent’s side.
- The ball must bounce once before it can touch the glass or fence. Hitting the glass or fence first is out.
- Players can use the walls after the bounce, similar to squash.
- Serves are underarm and must be hit diagonally into the service box.
- The ball must bounce below waist height when serving.
- Points are scored like tennis: 15, 30, 40, game. Deuce and advantage points apply.
- A point is won if the ball bounces twice or goes out.
- Volleys are allowed, but not on the return of serve.
- Games are fast, social, and easy to learn for beginners.
