At The Padel Directory, we spend a lot of time talking about growing the game. Every now and then, we get to step directly into the spotlight and help bring padel into conversations at the very top level of sport.
Recently, we had the opportunity to support Premier League Productions in organising and filming a high-profile interview featuring Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank, alongside Sky Sports and international broadcasters.
Bridging Football and Padel
The project centred around coordinating a seamless production environment for a multi-broadcaster interview. This meant more than just finding a court. It required:
- Identifying the right venue with strong visual appeal and broadcast suitability
- Managing logistics across multiple stakeholders
- Ensuring the environment worked for both elite football media and padel storytelling
- Supporting on-the-ground filming to keep everything running smoothly
This is where The Padel Directory operates best. We understand both sides. The sport itself, and how to present it properly.

Why It Matters
Having a Premier League manager like Thomas Frank involved in content around padel is not just a nice moment. It is a signal.
Padel is no longer niche. It is moving into mainstream sports culture, and projects like this accelerate that shift.
When global broadcasters invest time and resources into producing this kind of content, it creates visibility that the sport cannot buy through traditional channels.

Delivering at Broadcast Level
Working alongside Premier League Productions and Sky Sports sets a high bar. Expectations are sharp. Timelines are tight. There is no room for friction.
Our role was simple in theory but demanding in practice. Make everything work.
From venue coordination to on-site support, the goal was to ensure the production team could focus entirely on capturing the story, without worrying about the details behind it.

The Bigger Picture
This is exactly the kind of work that pushes padel forward in the UK and globally.
It is not just about directories, listings, or discovery. It is about positioning padel within the wider sports ecosystem. That means collaborating with the biggest names in football, media, and production.
And doing it properly.

What’s Next
This is just the beginning. As more clubs, players, and broadcasters show interest in padel, the demand for high-quality execution will only increase.
We are here for that.
